Necessity is the mother of invention.

What I will loosely call my introduction to photography in a professional setting was atypical yet organic. By the time I was doing my undergraduate studies I had been using 35mm film for years and was enamored with honing that process. However, film was expensive and I was a broke college kid. So I started using my first digital camera to take headshots and portraits of my classmates for their portfolios. During this time I became fascinated with the art of capturing subjects in all stages of art/truth/light coupled with the challenges of producing a product for a client.

Those early years still inform everything I do with a camera. Marrying my vision with the needs of a client. Producing something we can both be proud of. This is present across the spectrum from Fashion to Architecture.

Currently, outside of this business, I am a member of The American Association of Media Photographers & Professional Photographers of America. Additionally, Iā€™m a Life Long Learning Instructor at Butler County Community College. I teach a range of Photography classes to folks who are at all stages in their own journey.
